More about Waxing in Draper, Utah at Wax Me Too Salon

In Utah, Wax Me Too has five different locations with its main headquarters being in the cute town of Draper!  Several years ago, WMT opened its doors just west of I-15 with one small treatment room and two eager owners sharing the space.  Now, they are located throughout Utah in Layton, Salt Lake City, Draper, Orem and St. George.

Because Wax Me Too salons are best known as "waxing only salons" they have become increasingly popular within the community.  After all, when it comes to hair removal, waxing is a fast, efficient, non permanent way to remove hair. However, back in the day not many estheticians were very skilled at this art. It's simple really.  When an esthetician graduates from skin care school and goes to work in a salon, she becomes a jack of all trades.  During an average day she will do facials, chemical peels, lash and brow tinting, pedicures and manicures, and if she is lucky, a wax or two.

With the opening of Wax Me Too, its owners recognized a need for skilled waxers in the community.  More and more men and women were turning to waxing for hair removal.  Laser was proving to be expensive and in many cases not very effective.  Waxing, on the other hand, solved the problem of unwanted hair. And  Wax Me Too solved the problem of bad waxing by training its estheticians how to wax properly.  When one waxes all day long, its easy to become an expert-- and once an expert to be fast and efficient.

When the client waxes, the hair is removed from its follicle, forcing the body to create a brand new baby hair in its place.  The hair grows in thinner and finer.  After several waxes, it appears that the hair growth has slowed down and thinned out!  What could be better?  Most clients who wax will repeat the procedure once each month.

The most popular and number one requested service is the brazilian bikini wax for both men and women.  With dudes, we call this procedure the "manzillion" and believe me, lots of men are making appointments.

Wax Me Too in Draper is conveniently located just west of I-15 with easy freeway access from the north and south.  Being right on 123rd South, the main thoroughfare of Draper it is accessible from all four directions.  WMT is located inside the beautiful Image Studios--home to over 30 individual business such has hair stylists, nail tech's, massage therapists and more.  The waxing suites consists of three treatment rooms and reception.

Wax Me Too Salt Lake City Opens Third Treatment Room

Wax Me Too, downtown Salt Lake City, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its 3rd treatment room inside Studio Salons.  Wax Me Too salons have become Utah's number one source for all over body waxing, specializing in the popular brazilian bikini wax!

Because we now do over 3000 brazilian waxes each month, along with an assortment of all over body waxing for both men and women, we have had to expand in order to meet the high demand of waxing.

Each Wax Me Too esthetician is a "Master esthetican" with 1200 hours of skin care education.  When coming to work at Wax Me Too, our estheticians spend additonal training hours learning the art of waxing.

Brazilian waxing has become the most popular waxing service. I supposed we can thank the three sisters from Brazil for making this hair removal technique popular.  But, let me add, that while the sisters from Brazil may have created the brazilan wax, we at Wax Me Too have perfected it.

Most brazilian waxes take approximately 15 minutes, yet at Wax Me Too our brazilans are booked at a half an hour.  Some clients may like to take it a little bit more slowly and as customer service is our priorty, we will follow our customers lead.

Male waxing is becoming increasingly popular.  Men, as well as women, find they enjoy the benefits of being hair free and hair removal through waxing is a fast, efficient and affordable.  Some of our most popular services for men include back waxing, chest and tummy waxing, manzillion waxing ( just like a ladies brazilian yet geared for men) and believe it or not, eyebrow wax to get rid of the unibrow.

Even Casey Scott Waxes

Casey Scott of Channel 2 in Utah is somewhat of a celebrity in our area.  Most of you know him as the am host that tours around the greater Salt Lake area and interviews local business owners and keeps his viewers on track with what's happening!  A few months ago, Casey made his way to Wax Me Too Salon's main headquarters in Draper, Utah.  The special of the morning was to talk about waxing and the millions of folks who are trying it out!

At Wax Me Too ( we have 5 locations in Utah) we see hundreds of folks each month for their waxing needs.  After our facebook fans stalked Casey's facebook, he decided to see what all the hype was about and come and check out our facility.

The question when he arrived was...do you want to wax and if yes, what do you want to wax?  Well, Casey vascillated back and forth as to whether or not he should do the most popular wax requested--the Brazilian, or as some folks like to call it because he is a male--the Manzillion!  He kept viewers on the hook for the duration of the show until the very last second he made up his mind AND WAXED!

Now lets jump to July, Casey Scott and his show Utah's Fresh Living, gave us a call and said, "Hey Wax Me Too ladies, come on in and let's talk eyebrows and summer time waxing".

So we did.  Yesterday, July 5th, Joann and I ( Jolie) had the pleasure of meeting with Casey and his adorable co-host of the day, Amanda, in their studio right downtown Salt Lake City.  We waxed some brows and some lips and boy did they look fabulous.

Will Casey Scott come back in for a second Manzilian?  Well folks, as we like to say within the walls of our treatment room....we are like Vegas!  We will never tell!
