One of the best things about waxing is the fact that you don't have to do it every day.  Most clients come in once each month ( about 4 weeks apart) to be waxed.  Waxing removes the hair from the root and forces the body to grow a new ( and finer) baby hair in its place.  The next month, the new hair is removed once again by wax and once again the body grows another.  Over time, you will notice the hair, which never gets a chance to grow, remains thin and easy to remove.  Unlike shaving...which sharpens the hair at the surface of the skin ( stubble) waxing leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.

Wax Me Too salons is opening its 6th location at the very busy crossroads of South Jordan Parkway and Bangeter.  Our address 3352 S Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095  Suite 3!  

On March 4th we will invite waxing clients to visit us inside Styla Salons Suite 3!  We are excited to have branched out west of i 15 and to offer hair removal serices through waxing.  Our most requested service is the Brazilian wax.  We do several hundreds a week from our existing salons and look forward to providing it to clients who live on the West side.

If you have never had a Brazilian wax before, there are a few things you want to remember.

1. Make sure your hair is long enough!  No, you don't need to grab a ruler...but a good trick is to make sure you can flick the hair away from the skin with your fingertip. This means the hair is generally a 1/4 of an inch OR is ten days regrowth from the last time you shaved.

2. Gentle exfoliation of the area a few days before your wax can help with hair removal, especially if you have ingrowns or dry skin.

3. If you are worried about discomfort, go ahead and take something like an Ibprofen!
