Eyebrow Design, How to Get the Best of Brows
Now days, being north of Salt Lake City doesn't mean there is a shortage of amenities when it comes to beauty and beauty services.
Wax Me Too Salons has been in Layton for the past 6 years and has been the number one stop for male and female waxing needs.
Our specialty is the Brazilian wax, however, we do several hundred eyebrow designs each month. Our Utah licensed team members pride themselves on not just waxing your brows but designing them!
An eyebrow wax costs $15.00 and is booked at a half an hour.
When you arrive to our salon for your first brow wax we will have you fill out a small form just to make sure you aren't using any products or medications, such as certain antibiotics and retinols that could interfere with the waxing process,
We will discuss your brows before starting the service, as your vision of what you want and ours may differ. (We want to make sure you have the best service possible) That being said, please don't ask us for Kelly Clarkson brows unless you are Kelly Clarkson! All kidding aside, you deserve to have beautiful brows to make your eyes pop and to frame your face, and as professionals, we seek to serve.
Your esthetician will wash her hands before touching your skin and gather the tools she will need, tweezers, a brow brush, and tiny scissors.
She will check the temperature of the wax. (On a side note, one main cause of concern when waxing brows is wax that is too hot) We keep our wax at a low temperature to ensure it won't cause discomfort to your sensitive skin, or worse, burn your skin. Once we both have decided on a course of action your esthetican will apply a cleanser and start the waxing process. Small areas of wax are applied to shape the brow. Afterwards, tweezers are used to define the brow.
Some folks like to have the top of the brow area waxed just to rid their skin of any little fuzzys or straggler hairs. Waxing above the brow makes your brow line look clean but will not cut into the shape of your brow.
During the process, your esthetician will use her brow bush to ensure the shape is correct and use the tiny scissors to trim any longer hairs.
Once the brow is perfected, a cleansing solution is wiped across the brow. We ask that you don't touch them as fingertips produce oils and can spread bacteria. However, don't be worried about looking in your mirror every other second to see how beautiful you look!
At Wax Me Too, our waxing techniques are gentle on the skin and leaves the brow looking well defined and gorgeous.
It's most popular with women yet the increase of male clientele wanting to rid themselves of the unibrow and unruly brows have made their way through our doors.

Wax Me Too and Prevention Magazine!
We got a call at Wax Me Too a few weeks ago from Jessica Chia telling us that she is a beauty writer for Prevention magazine and could she interview us about bikini waxing! Of course we said YES! How honored we were to have Prevention come to us for tips and tricks. Everyone knows that Prevention magazine is one of American's leading health and beauty magazine read by millions!
It was a delight talking to Jessica who was calling from New York. She was charming and personable and asked really great questions about the waxing process. Towards the end of our conversation, I asked why she chose us and needless to say, I was very pleased with her reply.
She said that she had asked her assistant to search the web and find a waxing salon that had a good website full of details and had a sense of humor. Humor, as you all know, are what we at Wax Me Too are good at. ( I know, I know, never end a sentence in a preposition...but I will this time )
The waxing process( especially the brazilian) is intimidating that first time you come in. You don't know us. But we know you. We know you are nervous, uncertainly, worried about exposing yourself to a complete stranger etc. Therefore we try to be loud, funny and inject humor into our conversation with you. Brazilian Waxing in Layton Utah With Milly~ Ella Habla Espanol
Wax Me Too Salon has been in Layton for 4 years now, and many of you know that we outgrew our old digs and have moved into a brand new spot at 360 Fort Lane in Fort Lane Plaza.
Along with our new salon, we now have the ability to take more clients as we have 2 full time treatment rooms operating almost every day.
Brazilian waxing is our specialty. Wax Me Too is know for our use of the Brazilian Technique, which is a way to wax that is quick, efficient, gets all the hair, and is as comfortable and painless as a brazilan wax can be. We have tried and true methods!
We also have a great team of ladies who wax in our Layton location. The newest addition to our team is Milly who has been in the industry for 20 years! Milly is originally from Venezuela and speaks Spanish, which is a great plus for our Layton clients as many of them are Spanish speaking!

With Valentine's Day just around the corner the search for the perfect romantic gift has begun. I'm here to tell you that you don't need to look far.

Wax Me Too Layton Has Moved to a Beautiful New Salon in Fort Lane Plaza
As you may have heard, Wax Me Too, Utah's full body waxing salon has moved from its old location in the "Old" Mill just a mile away to a beautiful new salon in Fort Lane Plaza @ 360 Fort Lane--we are right on the main road, just look for our sign!
After 4 successful years of waxing those in the Layton area, we outgrew our last digs and made the decision to move into something fresh and new in which we could add our own element of style and touch. Out with the "old" and in with the new.
Wax Me Too clients have been thus far, thrilled with our new space. It's bright and airy and large with fresh decorator perfect paint, wooden brand new flooring, new sinks in every treatment room and designer decor. Not only does it look great, smell great... it feels great.
We didn't leave anything of value behind at old mill, well maybe some old curtains. Most importantly, we have brought along our clients AND our fabulous Layton waxing crew who have helped make WMT Layton the success it is today, Natalie and Anna!
Natalie has been a valued waxer with the company for 5 years now and works both in Layton and SLC. She enjoys a full clientele and is one heck of a waxer. She is fast & thorough with a darling sense of humor and is always ready to listen to a story.. Her text messages make us all smile as they are full of "lol's and ha ha ha's".
Anna, who used to be an esthetics instructor loves the new space as it is a waxer's dream with sinks in every treatment room and a lobby large enough for several clients to wait for their appointments. Anna's happy personality brings life and laughter to the salon. She too enjoys a large clientele who love her brow design and her speedy brazilian waxing technique.
Newest to the Layton staff, but not new to Wax Me Too is Christine who comes to Layton part time ( she works in Draper as well) Christine has amazing talent and a personality that clients are drawn to. A grandmother of twins ( and she is a young one at that) she is family oriented and cares deeply about people. She has an eye for detail and always breaks out her tweezers just to be sure there are no hairs left behind.
While moving and change can be difficult, sometimes it is for the best. As Wax Me Too eagerly embarks on its new adventures in its new location we'd like to thank all of our loyal clients for their business. And on that note, to any new clients, we'd like to tell you a little about Wax Me Too and our philosophy!
Established in 2007 by two best friends, Jolie and Joann saw a real need for professional waxing, especially the brazilian. Wax Me Too is the first "Waxing Only" salon to open in Utah. They pride themselves and their waxing team at all 5 Utah locations for their professionalism, in putting the clients safety first and foremost, for strict adherence to waxing protocols such cleanliness and sanitation and for the ability to put clients at ease in a sometimes awkward experience.
The owners wanted to start a business where women (licensed waxers) could become financially independent & support themselves. Each waxer goes through a training program in which the art of waxing is perfected, learns of certain protocols developed by the company in order to help the waxer build & retain their clientele while competing in a challenging industry.
WMT is proud to be a small business that supports community. They are strong contributors to "The Road Home" the homeless shelter in Salt Lake City and even have their own program called "Happy Faces" in which they offer free brow & lip waxing to teens in need of a moral boost while attending middle or high school.
In the past several years the Happy Faces program has taken off. At each location, waxers donate their time and offer free brow design and lip waxing to those students who need a little loving care ( we are devastated by bullying in schools) and help them to put their best face forward when starting school.

As Wax Me Too eagerly embarks on its new adventures in its new location we'd like to thank all of our loyal clients for their business. And on that note, to any new clients, we'd like to tell you a little about Wax Me Too and our philosophy!
Established in 2007 by two best friends, Jolie and Joann saw a real need for professional waxing, especially the brazilian. Wax Me Too is the first "Waxing Only" salon to open in Utah. They pride themselves and their waxing team at all 5 Utah locations for their professionalism, in putting the clients safety first and foremost, for strict adherence to waxing protocols such cleanliness and sanitation and for the ability to put clients at ease in a sometimes awkward experience.
The owners wanted to start a business where women (licensed waxers) could become financially independent & support themselves. Each waxer goes through a training program in which the art of waxing is perfected, learns of certain protocols developed by the company in order to help the waxer build & retain their clientele while competing in a challenging industry.
WMT is proud to be a small business that supports community. They are strong contributors to "The Road Home" the homeless shelter in Salt Lake City and even have their own program called "Happy Faces" in which they offer free brow & lip waxing to teens in need of a moral boost while attending middle or high school.
In the past several years the Happy Faces program has taken off. At each location, waxers donate their time and offer free brow design and lip waxing to those students who need a little loving care ( we are devastated by bullying in schools) and help them to put their best face forward when starting school.
About our waxing skills and our commitment to you:
1) The service is all about you, not about us ( we aren't going to bore you with our bad date, day, laundry troubles, car issues....we want to hear all about you!)
2) We never double dip into the wax pot ( ick)
3) We always wear gloves for your safety (of course)
4) We always wash our hands before starting a service with you-( a sink is in every treatment room)
5) Your modesty is important, we allow you privacy to prepare for your wax and a sterile towel in which to cover with (we aren't going to stand and watch you undress)
6) We make sure you are satisfied with your wax before you leave the salon & offer 100% money back satisfaction!
