Body Waxing, especially in the Brazilian-Bikini area is an exciting trend that has taken off all over the United States and especially here in Utah. For about ten years now, hair has become something passe. No one wants hair, unless its on your head,of course. A few years back, people tried laser hair removal, most with disappointing results and a hit to the bank account. Then, some sisters from Brazil started a trend known as Brazilian waxing and ...it caught on.
At Wax Me Too Salons (5 here in Utah- Layton, Salt Lake City, Draper, Orem and St. George ) brazilian waxing is our number one requested service. All we do is wax...although we also offer eyebrow designs and full body waxing (even toes and noses). If you have hair anywhere, we can wax it.
But why wax? Number one, it's addicting and for a variety of reasons. First and foremost it eliminates the need to shave for several weeks. Secondly, it's cost efficient with eyebrow shaping at the low end at $15.00 and full legs running (haha) at $55.00. Your basic bikini starts and $30.00 and depending on the depth of the waxing you would like, can go to about $50.00
If being hair free for several weeks and the saying goodbye to your razor isn't reason enough to wax, another is that the hair itself seems to thin out and those with really thick coarse hair, notice a finer and sometimes even a lighter regrowth. Those dark five o'clock shadows some get (and not only on their faces) can be diminished over time through monthly waxing.
Lastly, Utah folks love waxing because it is all about the senses. With shaving, you get prickles. With waxing, you get soft, smooth and sexy skin! We like to say at Wax Me Too...."waxing...it isn't JUST about eyebrows anymore"
Because we are waxing specialists, we can't say too much about laser except what we have heard from our clients who laser. It's painful, it doesn't last, it's time consuming and it's expensive. We have hundreds of clients come to our salon after laser treatments for one simple reason....the hair always seems to grow back! With waxing, the hair removal is not permanent, but it looks like with with laser, it isn't permanent either.

So what do you think the benefit is laser hair removal in utah or just getting your waxing done in utah? I like your post, it gives a good point of view. Im debating what i should do, thanks for posting this.
Personally,we feel that before you spend money on laser, read as many reviews as you can on the company, the type of machine they use and then check them out with the BBB. Its been our experience that laser doesn't work well for most people. I would wax! It's inexpensive, the results last for about 4 to 6 weeks, its simple, quick, relatively painless and does thin out the hair.
