 At Wax Me Too Salons (5 in Utah) we've seen an increase in the number of male clients coming in for grooming appointments.  In today's world, body hair is something akin to taboo!  It's not only women who find relief from shaving through waxing, but men too!  The word "Metrosexual" explains our client, a man who is especially meticulous about his grooming and appearance!

While we do full male body waxing, one of our most popular services is male brow wax. The unibrow is OUT, and a groomed masculine shape, minus the unibrow is in. No, no,  gentleman, no high arches or sissy brows allowed ( unless specifically asked for )

A brow wax is easy. Your esthetician will use a little wax to grab rogue hairs and her tweezers to fine tune. Total time from start to finish:  15 minutes!

Our next big service jumps from your brows to.... lower.  It's called manscaping, What's the big deal? Just ask our clients.  Our male clients will tell you they have as much desire to be smooth and clean as their wives, girlfriends or partners.

The male brazilian wax is called a "Manzilian".  A Manzilian is just like a ladies brazilian as it removes all pubic hair from the front to the back.

Ouch, you may think.  But the ouch factor is the same for both men and women. Quite simply, hair is being removed from its root (the follicle) and the body is then forced to grow a new hair, which in most circumstances comes in thinner and more fine!

Does it hurt?  Well sure.  Try yanking a hair from your scalp or your forearm.  Anyone who tells you there ins't a little ouch factor involved is lying!  Is it gonna kill ya?  Heck no.

A good waxer can remove all hair from the front to the back in just under 30 minutes.  At Wax Me Too we charge $80.00 for a manzilian.  We have certain estheticians and licensed professionals who are specifically trained in the art of male waxing.  After all, as a client, you will want a waxer who is quick, competent and comfortable with the procedure.

In order to prepare for your first manzilian, we recommend that you have at least 10 days of hair growth from the last time you shaved.  Never shaved?  No worries.  That makes our job all the easier and for you, possibly a more complete wax as there won't be tiny hairs or uneven hair growth.
